No. Sorry, we require a major credit card to guarantee your room reservation. Please review the terms and cancellation policy before making your reservation.
As soon as you have completed the booking process, a confirmation page will appear in your browser session. This page shows all of your reservation details, including the booking number and your PIN code, so you can access your confirmation online. We will also send you a confirmation email with all of your booking information.
During the booking process you can enter any special requests into the "Special Requests" box on the "Your Details" page. Once you have received your booking confirmation, you can follow up with the hotel directly to confirm that your request can be met. You can find the hotel’s contact details on the Contact Us page of our website.
Simply follow the instructions to modify or cancel your reservation found in your Reservation Confirmation Email. Alternately, you can find the link to Cancel or Modify Your Reservation in the footer of the hotel’s website. Please note, your reservation is not canceled until and unless you receive an email confirmation for the cancellation.

Yes. However, our hotel will only recognize a credit card on which the authorized payee’s name is clearly present and visible, copy of the payee’s identification and a credit card authorization form is completed and faxed back to our property. You can contact us for the Credit Card Authorization Form and for further instructions if your reservation will have a third party payee.
We consider a group to be a reservation of 6 rooms or more. For any group reservations, we request that you contact us directly or use the form that is spawned when you select 6+ rooms in the Check Availability function above.

Yes! We’re happy to accept packages for guests. Please send the package to Hotel Trumbull and Porter Hotel Attention: (Guest’s Name),1331 Trumbull Ave Detroit 48216. If you’d like to let us know when the package is sent, we’ll be happy to make a note to keep an eye out for it. Please note that if the guest has already departed when the package arrives, we cannot hold it and will return the packages to the sender.

We accept all major credit cards/debit cards. When you check in to the hotel, we will hold the full room and tax total, plus $150 hold per stay for incidentals. The $150 incidental hold, if no charges incurred, will be released within 2-4 business days after check out. We do not accept checks and cash for room charges. Credit card deposit is required to check-in, and we are unable to accept cash deposits under any circumstances.

You must go through the booking agent/website that you went through in order to change your reservation.

You must be 21 years of age with a valid ID to check in to the hotel.

We require a credit card at the time of booking. You must cancel at least 48 hours prior to arrival (3pm local hotel time) to avoid a one night’s room and tax to your card. Yes, we have some connecting rooms at the hotel. You may make a request for connecting rooms when you reserve your rooms. However, they are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Yes, we are a pet-friendly hotel and pets are welcomed at the hotel for a $50 PER NIGHT and 50 pound maximum. Pets cannot be left unattended at the hotel. You must stay with your pet at all times. Pets must be leashed or in a carrier at all times while outside of your room.  A signed pet agreement will be required upon check-in. Yes, we have accessible suites. These suites include roll-in showers with support bars and chair.

Yes. We provide on-site secure gated parking to our hotel guest at the property. The parking fee is $10/night with unlimited in-and-out access.

On-site RV/Bus/Truck parking is also available with $10/space/night parking fee. Vehicles with power generator trailer cannot be parked behind gated parking area.

Sorry we don’t have room service.  But you can order food delivery for 24H
